IMO, their problem is not the physical infirmity as much as the mental. If you’re not sharp enough to LOOK where you’re going, all the training in the world won’t keep you from tripping over a sandbag. And yes, a younger, nimbler person could trip and catch themselves before falling, but I don’t think they could make an 80 year old that nimble. He wanders around brainless, THAT is the problem.
