A month or so ago I discovered Police Body footage videos on YouTube. These are better than watching older episodes of COPS.
There was one recently where a woman of color self scanned her cart full of items at the Target checkout but never paid for them. The store detective called the local police somewhere in Florida and they approached her in the parking lot. She then gave them a false name, etc. The crazy thing it that she had $1400 worth of merchandise in her car/cart.
I could not believe that there were items at Target that could add up to that amount unless she had a couple flat screens, which she did not. She was with a friend who actually paid for her items and drove a huge SUV.
Then she tried to run from the cop in the parking lot. They arrested her for Grand Theft because the stuff was over $750.
