Speaking at an event in New Hampshire, where she has surpassed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in some surveys, Haley attempted to tread lightly when it came to criticizing the former president.
“He was the right president at the right time,” she said when asked, essentially, what Trump’s legacy will be 100 years from now.
She critiqued Trump not only on fiscal policy but also on his position on Ukraine, asserting that, “He used to be good on foreign policy and now he has started to walk it back and get weak in the knees when it comes to Ukraine.”
Haley is among those who believes it is in the United States’ best interests to provide aid to Ukraine in its defense against Russia. She also believes a Russian victory would only strengthen the country’s relationship with China, deeming Ukraine a “pro-American country that was invaded by a thug.”

“This is bigger than Ukraine,” Haley said during a CNN town hall in June. “This is a war about freedom and it’s one we have to win.”
GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is among the minority who said he would halt United States aid to Ukraine.

The DC crowd never saw a conflict that it didn’t want to get into. That’s because they never have to make any form of personal sacrifice or suffer the consequences of their actions. War is nothing but an abstraction to them.
Excellent question that none of the war conservatives or the warmongers can seem to answer. Their only line is we can’t do appeasement like Germany in 1938 and that was a completely different situation and time. Nobody wants to talk about any of the previous US administrations, NATO and Western Europe’s shady and illegal antics in the Ukraine for the last twenty-five years.
Am I saying that the US is responsible for the Ukraine war-NO, but we are not the innocent, minding our own business little fawns either in this quagmire. This is a war that could have been avoided with some statesmanship, diplomacy and some forward looking strategic thinking by the USA, something that hasn’t been in Washington DC since Ronald Reagan left town in January 1989. Trump was on the right trail and it would have exposed a lot of dirt and corruption on the part of many western politicians and countries and it would have kept the peace and that couldn’t be allowed, so war, again...

That may be but they should because its costing us an enormous amount of money and edging us ever closer to direct conflict with a nuclear power. Our involvement is also indirectly benefitting China who is reaping all kinds of insights by watching the NATO’s tactics and capabilities. Its a cost free bonanza of intel for China.

The ONLY interest the US has in Ukraine is to spend $Billions so that $Millions can get kicked back to corrupt officials. It’s a litmus test of who is and isn’t corrupt. Anyone supporting sending money to Ukraine is corrupt.
