From what I have heard from an educator is that in middle- or in high school, lots of girls who want to be boys get beaten up when in the boys restrooms.

Not just trans. Regular girls think they can do stuff that if the guys did it, will get the guys in trouble. Regular guys barging into the girls restroom will land the guys in trouble.
