Even Freepers can be the last ones to figure out that the people elected to represent us in government are, by and large, nothing more than TV characters.
Fooled by what? Her voting record is better than 95% of those in the House. Dems and the Republican establishment worked hard to defeat her in the last election.
As long as she votes in support of things I like, and against the things I don’t like, then I don’t care.
My bigger concern is that she was dating a democrat, than she was letting her grope her in a theater.
And if she votes like a solid conservative, why does any of that matter? You should hear some of the life stories of members of Congress and legislators around the country. This is all pretty tame in comparison.

I'm not electing her to be my pastor. These BS purity tests for Republicans are killing us. There are plenty Church Ladies here that wouldn't vote for Trump because he cavorted with strippers and sends mean tweets, how's that working out now that it resulted in a president that's in bed with China and destroying our military? The purity tests only work one way, Democrats surely don't care about them. They elect the most radical leftists they can who will shove through every marxist initiative they can get while we're ready to toss a staunch conservative because she has fake tits and grabs her boyfriend's package.
Yeah, she's trashy and I wouldn't want to take her to the prom, but that's not what I care about. I care about her vote countering the marxists that are hell bent on destroying my country. Your purity tests will result in another democrat in the house which will vote for Nancy Pelosi as speaker again, all because she offends your sensibilities.

The Democrats follow this rule, and it works. We are not electing people to the legislature who are candidates for sainthood. Most of them are thieves and grifters, barely held in check by the pretenses they must uphold to stay in office. And that is "our guys". The Democrats are much worse.
When Boebert starts voting wrong, it will be time to eject her from Congress. Just about everything else should be forgiven. That is the nasty reality of power politics.
I don't like unstable woman who are "acting out" after a divorce or other personal crisis. They tend to be very unpredictable and can damage people around them. That is to me a legitimate reason to be wary of Boebert now.
But, so far, she still votes right.
Let's see if she can recover from her personal problems before we kick her to the curb.
