Indeed, given the way the potential assassin was equipped with "a U.S. Marshal badge on a lanyard and beltclip federal ID," and two pistols and spare magazines, this looks like a genuine attempt. Add this attempt to the attempt on Justice Cavanaugh, which occurred because the regime has steadfastly refused to enforce the anti-demonstrating law against those who were terrorizing conservative Supreme Court justices, this looks even more like a genuine attempt, and also an attempt that is a direct threat and warning to Supreme Court justices.

This is by no mean the first time a candidate hasn’t gotten SS protection. And he should well know that since the original RFK had not yet rated SS when he was assassinated. The rule is “major presidential and vice presidential candidates and their spouses within 120 days of the general presidential election.” Now often they get protection before then, and who is major. In 2020 only Trump, Carson, Sanders and Hillary got SS, and Hillary’s was from being Bill’s wife.
Not saying this wasn’t a problem, and the Secretary of Homeland Security (the person who actually decides who rates) should probably consider it. But this “only one ever” stuff is a flat out lie. Of course he’s a Kennedy, 4 generations.
