Steve Cortes, the ” national spokesman” for the pro-DeSantis SuperPAC Never Back Down, has admitted a presidential rematch between Donald Trump and Joe Biden “seems inevitable,” during an appearance on the Chicago’s Morning Answer. While laying out the case for Florida Governor DeSantis, Cortes claims voters do not want to see a rematch of 2020, though let slip that Trump’s primary victory appears all-but-certain.
“You mentioned earlier about dissatisfaction with a Trump-Biden rematch. On most polling, roughly two-thirds of Americans… do not want that rematch. It is a rematch that nobody wants yet it seems at this moment to be inevitable,” Cortes told the radio hosts before going on to pitch DeSantis an alternative. The show hosts were quick to point out that much of the Republican establishment appears to have moved on from DeSantis, with many even favoring the candidacy of former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.
“DeSantis is now not a clear-and-away second place candidate. He’s fighting for second place. And then whoever’s there, if they can establish some separation, then they’ve got 20, 30, 40 points to go to get to Trump.”
Cortes conceded the situation is “a tough one for Ron DeSantis.”

You guys want to except defeat way prematurely. Just like last time the democrats can’t possibly beat Trump fairly without massive vote fraud shenanigans. But they’ll use the same exact tactics against any republican candidate. I’d much rather vote for the proven candidate (Trump) that I know has a majority of the people’s support. You guys all think we should throw the dice with a candidate who has less support just because they aren’t Trump? That’s really a foolish idea at this point unless you’re trying to lose to the democrats.

Yep. They’ve been suggesting that for months. Ya tell them only one person could pull this off, and actually beat these evil demons and it sure in hell isn’t DeSantis. They just can’t figure it out.
Trump blew an entire stage full of professional politicians off the stage once before. Only one person has a chance, and that’s Trump. This is not complex.

Only way Biden is not on the ballot in 2024 is if he croaks before ballots are printed.
Corrupt politicians do not give up the golden goose for sake of party, country, American people etc. Another reason he won’t quit is he wants to be president is in case someone does their job and hauls Hunter into prison. Joe wants to be there to issue a full pardon.
Notice nobody except RFK Jr has made moves to challenge Biden. Not even the charismatic Newsom.

Putin did not invade anybody when Trump was president.
Trump built strongest US military in history.
However we are now dealing with majority of people who are product of teachers Union. If you think media will be on the side of DeSantis, I will sell you my ocean front condo in Arizona for half price. Desantis got elected with endorsement from Trump and his opponents were either hard leftists crack smoker or the unpopular Crist. Florida had republican governors for a very long time.

Republicans had been closing the registration gap with Democrats in Forida for quite some time — and their efforts really went into overdrive starting in 2016, a couple of years before DeSantis came on the scene. Former President Donald Trump’s campaign probably deserves kudos for the dramatic increase in Republican registration in both 2016 and 2020.
In 2020, President Biden got just 50 percent of the Hispanic vote in Florida, according to Catalist, which accounts for most of the drop between 2016 and 2022. If anyone deserves credit for this, it’s probably Trump, who appealed to Hispanic voters with his own push to reopen the economy during the pandemic, as well as with targeted outreach to Florida’s diverse Hispanic communities.
I don’t know if you’re just waking up or you don’t pay close attention but elections have changed now. It’s not the same old, count the votes and see who wins.
Elections are being rigged and stolen in every possible way now by the democrats. If they do it again to Trump it may be their Waterloo. America and her patriots are watching this next election very very closely. We don’t need to go with a Rino that doesn’t have as much support because they’ll just cheat them too. We may as well go with the guy who brung us to this dance, so to speak. He’s the one everything’s riding on. Not Desantis or anyone else. Trump’s the choice and I believe he’s worth fighting for.
That means more ppl want Trump than any of the pathetic clowns running against him. What is so hard for you to understand about that?
Voting is about deciding on a candidate whose values reflect your own and whose message is more closely aligned with your thinking. More conservatives want Trump. We’ve looked at RDS, et al., and they just don’t fit the bill to the majority of us. You’re expecting GOP voters to throw all that out the window and pick a candidate solely on whether or not we think they can win. That’s the antithesis of ethical elections in this country.
