As Joe Biden’s standing among Americans continues to degrade, President Donald Trump is continuing to gain political strength ahead of next year’s presidential election.

According to a new poll from Carolina Forward, Trump is leading Biden by four points in the great state of North Carolina, an important battleground state in the presidential general election battle.

In both the 2020 and 2016 presidential elections, Trump won North Carolina by a narrow but solid margin.

However, North Carolina is not the president’s only big lead. President Trump is polling at historic highs nationwide, emerging as the clear favorite to win the 2024 Republican primary nomination next year.

A new survey taken between Aug. 30 and Sept. 1 from TIPP Insights revealed that President Trump holds a whopping 60 percent of support among Republican primary voters, while Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., held 11 percent of support. This demonstrates a jaw-dropping 49-point lead for Trump over the runner-up.

President Donald Trump is also leading handily in key swing states like Iowa as he heads into the Republican primary next year, dominating Iowa caucus polling. As reported by RSBN, 42 percent of likely Republican caucus-goers in the Hawkeye State would like to see Trump win the party’s nomination next year.

Trump is also leading the Republican primary race in California, where he is holding a powerful 11-point lead to win the state’s delegates over Gov. DeSantis, according to a poll from Berkeley IGS that was conducted at the end of August.

Trump has faced unprecedented legal battles this year, but his polling has only improved since January, fueling his campaign’s fundraising efforts and boosting his nationwide polling position. Rep. Greg Steube, R-Fla., recently noted that the ongoing indictments being brought against the president were only making him “stronger.”

In a recent national general election poll from Echelon Insights, Trump gained another two points since July, giving him a narrow one-point lead over Biden as the election season begins heating up in earnest.

Is NC typically oversampled R35-D32? Maybe it is, I don’t know how it polls historically. But if I’m up 4 and my party is oversampled by 3 and a 3.6 moe, I’d be a shade nervous. Am I not reading those internals right?

What does anyone here think is the likely drop dead date for removing Joe from the ticket and substituting another?

Where North Carolina and the GOP Primary is concerned, that's a lock!

“Go Robinson! Can’t wait.”

I would think Robinson should be able to pull it off.

Well, when you the GOP has a super majority in the House and Senate, I’m pretty sure a 4 point GOP Over-Sample is really, really light.

They can easily make a change at the Democrat convention.

If Joe pulls out after thr primaries but before the Democrat convention, all the delegates pledged to him would be free agents at the convention.

"3-3 is a “lock”?"

LOL, not even close. If anything it's probably a little too optimistic, but it's in the ballpark. NC is a tossup by any measure other than gerrymandered legislative districts -- voter registration counts, *statewide* election results, things like that.

Wisconsin is another state where Republicans have large majorities (for now) in the state legislature. Does that mean Republicans therefore must constitute over 60% of the electorate?

Again, not even close.

Those just happen to be 2 states -- VERY marginal states -- where gerrymandering actually favors the Republicans instead of the Democrats (as it does wherever possible). NC as a whole tilts slightly right at the moment; WI tilts slightly left (and then adds a dash of fraud to cement the deal).

“538” isn’t a polling organization...it is a collection/list of other people’s polls (including GOP polls).

I wish 4% would be a lock but it is not.

“TRUMP HAS NORTH CAROLINA ON LOCK IN GENERAL ELECTION POLLING”

There’s a reason that the Deep Staters are spending all their time attacking Trump, rather than defending him and attacking Biden...and this polling pretty much explains it.

Again, not even close.

Both of your comments fly in the face of logic.

Given the Voter Fraud is on the Democrat Side, for the GOP to have a super-majority means a so-called 4% over-sample is not only way too small, it's not an over-sample. It incorrectly reflects the enormous advantage the GOP has in N.C.
