A recent YouTube video featured drone footage of a large number of electric vehicles sitting in a field in China. It alleged that Chinese automakers are manufacturing cars, falsifying sales records, and abandoning them in order to receive government subsidies.
However, a Shanghai-based automotive industry veteran has looked into those claims and was able to debunk them as false.
Shanghai-based Mark Rainford, who runs his own YouTube channel called Inside China Auto, visited the “EV graveyard” in person. He captured his own footage of the cars that YouTuber Winston Sterzel claimed, based on old images captured by drone, were 10,000 brand new Neta Vs (a Chinese-made electric vehicle). In actuality, he found that the cars were not new, and only 146 of them were Neta Vs.

Yeah right.
They just look alike.
Maybe moot. Until any Chinese cars, EV or ICE, are at least crash tested and pass, they aren’t coming here until they are at least 25 years old, assuming it works the same as importing an uncertified Japanese domestic vehicle.
And the other 9800 were as SerpantZ claimed. That was only one of dozens of such EV car sites. Much of the footage was taken on the ground, not by drones.
Not much of a debunking.
Not much of a debunking.
“debunked” because the viral video claimed that the EVs were a particular model of electric vehicle that no one has ever heard of. In fact, the vehicles were a different model of electric vehicle that no one has ever heard of. So there you have it, the story was completely debunked, there was never a shred of truth to the aerial videos of the tens of thousands of EVs that were abandoned. Got it?
That's what Mark Rainford was shown.
“ Not much of a debunking.”
No It’s Chicom/Green fascist propaganda outlet.
Serpentza has already fired back at this “debunking”.
They initially tried to say they were ICE powered vehicles because they had “gas caps”.
But of course, it is common to put the electrical connection in the same spot, and that’s what these cars had. The old gas flap door was used for the electric plug.

Love that word, you do; you even had to use it twice ... which means that the “shanghai auto guy” story is a fraud.
Why does one of the radio speakers often say speak up?.
Something's wrong here.
Probably just storing them there waiting for Gavin “The Jackal” Newsom’s edict for EVs only to kick in.
Perhaps they put cardboard fillers in them instead of batteries.
And the body panels are made from tofu with a heavy coat of epoxy and paint.
I am told that is the way the Chinese build apartments in the new ghost cities.

the debunk was a field of “new” EV’s. “New” mostly doesn’t appear to be the case. There were a few new mentioned\showed and they weren’t Chinese.
