Blinken: ‘Putin has already lost’ in attempting to ‘erase’ Ukraine

Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Sunday that Russian President Vladimir Putin has already lost his invasion of Ukraine, which Blinken says he remains confident will come out victorious in the war.

“And the reason that I remain very confident in Ukraine’s ultimate success, which is that they’re fighting for their country, for their future for their freedom, the Russians are not,” Blinken told ABC’s Jonathan Karl on “This Week.” “And keep in mind, Putin has already lost in what he was trying to achieve. He was trying to erase Ukraine from the map and its independence, subsume it into Russia. That has already been a failure.”

“Blinken: ‘Putin has already lost’ in attempting to ‘erase’ Ukraine”

Not sure the Ukrainian Conscripts on the front lines would agree with him.

Anyway, it sounds more to me that Blinken is getting ready to follow Mario Cuomo’s advice to Bush Sr. regarding the First Gulf War, which was to Declare Victory and LEAVE (before actually winning anything).

Blinkininy has no clue. The reason was to disable the Ukraine as that is where all the smart people live in the former soviet union. Also he is destroying their infrastructure and power generation so they can’t compete with his stuff.

Canadian armed forces have beaten the US military. President Harris to sign surrender document later today.

A country like Ukraine will not beat a superpower like Russia.

The Ukraine synced up their power grid to the European grid days after the invasion. By doing that they contributed and tapped into that grid. thus making it possible for them to get Belarus and other soviet(former) countries a more reliable and less political power source.

2030

How’s things at the Ukrainian finance ministry?

The EU is not buying Russian fossil fuels. We’re not getting transit revenue nor fuel.

The Russians now have vastly superior weapons to sell. Our weapons factories are mainly idle.

What about grain? It does not generate enough revenue.

The problem with Blinken’s prognosis is that it’s based on a false premise. What if erasing Ukraine has never been Putin’s goal? His false premise leads to a deceptive conclusion.

Blinkin sets up a false strawman and then claims success.
