Yes, and it looks like we’ll have an octogenarian battle for the Presidency too. I’m sorry...I’m not exactly a teenager myself, but I honestly think we do not need any more dinosaurs in government.
The young ones may not be any better, since these old folks have kept a controlling hand on upstart young folks and only a few get through. But whatever, there has got to be a change.
Personally, I think what the dinosaurs are going to do is get reelected but with the understanding that somebody else younger is going to take over when they either plotz or become totally non compos mentis.
In her case, it will be Newsom (unless he ends up as Biden’s VP).
She’s win with 84% in 2024 when Pelosi is 84.

True. For most jobs/careers/vocations - when a person becomes incompetent - they are asked to resign or they are shown the door. We need a law that requires politicians, judges, government appointees and employees to pass a nominal mental acuity test. If found too impaired to perform their duties, they must resign or be removed by law- IMHO
