Why does the Never-Trump crowd, the earnest viewers of the Republican primary debate, believe that the tactics used against Donald Trump won’t be used against their preferred candidate? Why can’t they explain how Nikki Haley wins the primary, never mind the general election? Or how does Ron DeSantis overcome the structural fraud problems in every state with a Soros secretary of state?
To answer the last question first: Because to acknowledge that the Democrat machine is utterly efficient and capable of manufacturing just enough votes to beat any Republican (including Donald Trump) is to acknowledge that Donald Trump and his supporters have legitimate concerns. For Never-Trump voters to face that would mean extending grace and giving credence to disturbing systemic problems. They simply cannot do that lest they find themselves in the embarrassing position of talking about voter fraud, ballot harvesting, money laundering, the corruption of the DOJ, and on and on. In short, those are icky subjects. They would be “denying Democracy,” or some other idiotic phrase meant to stop the argument. Better to have high-handed discussions about Trump’s “bloviating” and tar his supporters as drug addicts seeking fentanyl hits. These stupid Trump rubes are pathetic. Let us, the enlightened, gingerly step over them on our way to meeting our fellow benighted Americans.

That's been my question. The GOPe thinks that once the voters give up on Trump and vote for the establishment's preferred candidate, then the "war" against conservatives, being waged by both parties, will stop. All will return to "normal" as soon as conservatives surrender.
Do they really think that the left progressives will stop? Surely not, so what is their plan? They do not have one. Once you throw in with the enemy, as the GOP has, they own you.
So basically, to surrender to the GOP establishment is to surrender to the progressive Marxists.

There’s the problem with the implied premise that the Never-Trumpers are fighting for at least a similar Constitutional cause — they’re not. It’s all for show — a political pageant.

Ron DeSantis is slightly less damaged by the media than Trump. The Trump haters will be less likely to vote. Trump cost loses on 2018, 2020 and 2022 by backing remarkably bad candidates and his failure to cleanup elections. DeSantis xleaned up elections in Broward and Dade counties and we now have a republican mayor in Miami! Trump appointed Tillerson, Millie, Barr, Wray and Powell! Those are unforgettable! He even agreed to a budget with no wall funding or the wall would be finished!

Speaking here in the heart of Michigulag, where I am quite certain that Trump won in 2020 quite handily were it not for Dominion and a host of ground shenanigans in large Dem precincts... much of which was publicly knowable at the time and worthy of the RINOs who had the majority in our Legislature to investigate before they met to certify Electors in December 2020. They rolled over and remained supine except for a handful. The Fix was clearly in as no one even in my Dem-dominated neighborhood had a Biden sign, just local candidates.
Election Integrity was a major issue in 2016 as the Dems were screaming bloody murder that Michigan Electors should vote for Hillary, not the winner, Trump. Now you can go to jail if you protest the results when the Dems win thru fraud. I guess that’s why Tudor and Ryan Kelley and the former Police Chief and the Billionaire are silent on the Fraud. DJT said he was going to have Election Integrity top on his list and then proceeded to disband his appointed commission and adopted none of its excellent recommendations. Then he really sold out our country with the Planned Scamdemic in 2020 etc etc etc.
2020 was a Coup d’etat of our Constitutional Republic by our Govt.Tools at all levels. There will be no more [S]Elections for me.

The only way to stop the weaponization of the justice system against Republicans is to do it to democrats. Republican district attorneys in conservative districts around the county need to be empaneling grand juries to investigate ways to indict the Biden crime family nationwide, using the same BS legal theories that the far-left DA’s have been using against Trump.
Democrats never think that “what goes around comes around” applies to them until it actually comes around to them.
The only way DeSantis got into office was because President Trump endorsed him, yet you have the gall to complain about President Trumps endorsements and appointees. DeSantis is a back-stabbing shyster creep for not supporting the man who put him in the Governorship.
President Trump was compelled to appoint individuals who would be approved in the Senate, which is still controlled by Yertle the Turtle, a deranged never Trumper just like you.
President Trump is far ahead in the polls and that galls you even more.

If the goal is to create chaos and destruction in order to build what they want on the ruins, perhaps they aren’t failing.
Because they get their "news" from the regular "main stream" news-liars, and they are dumb enough to believe them.
The idea that people hate Trump is entirely the product of fabrications by the media-liar-system.
Republicans who are only concerned with "winning" and who take these assertions at face value, resent Trump because they believe the media lies that *HE* is the problem.
They are too naive to realize the media-liars will make up crap about anyone they see as a threat, and they will do the same to *ANY* other candidate, including DeSantis, whom they've already started to attack.
