The way I see it, thousands of commercial fishermen have had their livelihood put in jeopardy with an aim of destroying them altogether, just as small farms are being forced out of business.
The result is that We The People are being forced into sourcing all our food from industrial producers. Meanwhile, thousands of small family businesses are being destroyed. This whole town exists because of commercial fishing. Now that the logging industry is gone due to Green Weenie activism Fishing and tourism is all that is left.
So, again: How is that good news?
And please do not try to tell me how wonderful a tourism based economy is. I lived in Hawaii for thirty years and watched tourism destroy the ag based economy there.
Of course it is possible that you simply prefer cheap, poor quality food that has been adulterated and modified for maximum profitability instead of nutrition.
