I agree blacks won’t vote Republican in any real numbers, but that’s just it - they don’t need to. As Candace Owens pointed out, soon enough the black vote won’t matter anymore anyway. I think the GOP should shift their attention to non-black minorities, thereby overcoming the black vote.
Latinos for example are far less monolithic than blacks, and already vote 40-50% GOP. If the GOP can secure another 30-40% of Latinos, the black vote will be inconsequential.
A small increase in the Minority-Minority vote will destroy the Democrat coalition.
For Democrats, maintaining that slim margin is existential to the Minority-Majority as a political force
To clarify my point, I think we *can* win the black vote IF we make some of the adjustments the guy in the video mentioned. We’re reaching out to them on media they don’t really watch. That’s problem number one right there.
That’s a good point though on Latinos and I’m going to make a bold call which is that I think down the road, not tomorrow or next year but down the road, them plus Asians could flip California.
