So why are we having elections? Obeying laws? Some aren’t I guess.

Under the Constitution, where government power was shared and diffused, government served to protect individual liberty. Under an authoritarian government, the people serve the government. Ask some questions:

1). Can you speak freely at any time without fear of repercussions?
2). Do you have 100% control over your own body?
3). Can you freely associate with any of your fellow citizens without repercussions?
4). Should you run afoul of the law will you be treated exactly as every other citizen by the justice system?
5). Does more than 20% of your earnings go to government?
6). Does your government care more about your welfare than it cares about someone illegally crossing the border to settle inside the homeland?
7). Do you perceive your government is corrupt?
8). Do you believe law enforcement and/or members of the military will take your life if ordered to by their superiors in the government heirarchy?
9). Do politicians serve donor interests over voter interests?
10). Do the overwhelming majority of politicians and government bureaucrats consciously and frequently lie to the public with no shame?
11). Has the teaching of the Constitution and history of this nation in the public schools been abandoned or distorted?

If the answer to these questions is yes, the Constitution is dead.
