Per WFTV if the track still stands Orlando gets 39+ mph gusts in the worst part of the storm since computer models are trending more west toward Tallahassee. Possible power outages here with 1-4” of much needed rain after all those days of high 90’s. As a side note, Brian Shields said there is a possibility this storm does a loop once it crosses to the east coast.

14 mph forward speed is fast for a storm to grow but the water is hot and steering currents must be light. At 14 mph a lot of folks will get a break from storms that just sit and rain with wind at slower speeds. But,this is no storm to ignore its gonna get big.
Once again no telling how many hours you put into this many of us appreciate what you do.

There are
two buoys in the open Gulf of Mexico that are more-or-less in the storm's predicted path. One of them (station 42099) is currently reporting the water temperature at
85.5 degrees. The other (station 42036) shows
87.8 degrees water temp.
Gas on the fire.
