As I understand it, they won’t allow Trump to pay anything or it’s considered witness tampering. He tried to pay for one lawyer for an aid and they wouldn’t allow it.

Some smart guy in the Trump camp needs to look into this, and fast. If Harrison Floyd really did attack an FBI agent, then too bad for him.
But if it’s a set-up, then your question is a good one. And Trump should step in. Not only would it be the right thing to do from a moral standpoint, it might resonate with the black conservatives and independents.
