And how does Fox declare DeSantis the winner when the audience polled all had Vivek as the winner? Fox news is seriously corrupted and anything that appears on that network should be taken with a grain of salt. DeSantis along with the rest of the line up challenging Trump are basically irrelevant at this point. Those who can’t accept that are only hoping the GOPe manages to lock Trump up and keep him off the ballot. At this point I consider them my political enemies almost as bad as the Dems themselves.

While the title is a bit tongue-in-cheek, the conclusion is spot on. DeSantis won the debate.

Sad, when the satire has to be (mis)taken, for truth.

You've been played....again. DeSwampus “won”, alright.

Fox News declares Fox News chosesn candidate "debate" *winner*....due to exceeded expectations (low expectations) viewership.

🙃

It’s satire, Jim.

“Trump had 200 million views on Twitter”

Just scrolling past a tweet of the Trump interview is counted as a view on Twitter.

Watched a little bit of the debate and it was clear to me it was a stage filled with liars trying to outdo each other with promises they won’t keep, and trying to hide their past records or explain them away so as to not look so bad. I know all debates are like that, but this year it seemed particularly so. It seemed very lackluster- uninspired- like a group of people with no chance trying to be the one that is the last to drop out. Listening to pence was a chore- totally out of touch with how patriots view him. 9bama hugging, self-love Christie trying in vain to portray hi self as a solid conservative just appeared despicable to me.

Then his after debate poll numbers should jump 10 points.
But they won’t jump up.

Some Trump-hating websites are claiming the number to be much lower- like around 15 million. Keep in mind though that those sites suffer incurable TDS

Fox News: why the leftist coded questions? Why did you exclude Trumps representatives. Tucker Carlson is way more popular than Fox News! You suck!

Even having a fraction of that number would still be very impressive. For all practical purposes the primary is OVER. Like I’ve said the only ones who can’t seem to accept this reality are the ones hoping the deep state manages to keep Trump off the ballot.

Don’t know about that but I have no problem with Trump being the candidate.

With Trump being a rain the next day, I don’t think there will be any big change. Ramasamy got a bump as Trump fanboy. I think that will be the only change we see. Big picture, DeSantis proved his focus and readiness, that will pay off in the long run.

“Fox News: why the leftist coded questions? “

They’re so out of touch, intentionally. They had the climate change kid and of course abortion. Gotta question Republicans on abortion, that’s just a given. The issue’s been resolved at the federal level, which is the level of the office being debated. But let’s ask it anyway. And Ukraine. Forever Ukraine.

It was so tedious and tiresome. Bret Baier is the worst, and Martha McCallum is the new blonde hatchet-woman, replacing the woman they designated to “take-out” Trump in 2015.

While the title is a bit tongue-in-cheek, the conclusion is spot on. DeSantis won the debate.

He joined the other neocons and indicated he would continue to fund the Ukranians.

He will NEVER get my vote with that stance.

Oh, and the way he lied about his service in Iraq was cute.

More of a mutual admiration society.

I have seen some video clips on America’s Voice and read the transcript of the thing they called a debate. When reading the transcript the first thing that struck me as a complete failure was that candidates had only one minute to respond to questions. That’s not a serious approach. It’s impossible to have anything close to an exchange of ideas when time is limited to one minute.

I should back up. I wrote the word ‘candidates’ above. A political debate should include candidates. The notion that the people on that stage were candidates is not serious. Nearly everyone on of them has motives other than being President as the basis of their so-called candidacies. Their motives do not include being selfless and purely driven to make America a better nation for Americans. To some it is a logical progression in their political careers, either governors or senator or VP taking the next step in their lifetime of government service.

I better back up again. What’s the basis of their lifetime career in government and who is the service too? I submit that the basis for everyone fitting the category of long term government employment, that the basis of their careers is primarily for themselves and not their constituents. It is in service to themselves. Additionally, there is an experience factor associated with their long careers in government employment. They never built a thing.

I frequently write, “never built a thing”. It encapsulates a number of ideas. It coveys a lack of achievement. It means a lack of real world achievement. It symbolizes a disconnect from productive American workers, whether putting together widgets together on an assembly line, building houses, or running a business that provides value and benefit to Americans. It is a disconnect from voters that live in a and participate in a meritocracy.

Most of those that were on that stage are not serious about running for the highest office in the land and their motivations are not not serious. They know that they have no serious chance of winning, but they persist while making a mockery of what people would consider a real debate.

That event in Milwaukee was conceived by another very non serious person pictured above, Ronna McDaniel. She’s the niece of Willard Romney. Make no mistake of it. She holds her position at the RNC because of political connections, and those connections are Democrats masquerading as Republicans. It’s not achievement. It fact she has no redeeming qualities. She is a glutton and as such she has no respect for her body, which means she has no respect for herself. If she cannot respect herself, she cannot respect others or serious ideas.

Like the idea that a debate serves a real purpose in selecting our nation’s leader. Looking at McDaniel and hearing McDaniel speak it becomes immediately apparent that she is of below average intelligence. She lacks the ability and capability to make decisions. That becomes completely obvious as a result of her effort to stage a debate. Her choices in the media outlet for the debate do not reflect the choice of Republican voters. Neither does the choice of moderators. The debate format is not serious. Everything about the entire event to the spin room coverage has nothing to do with informing American voters and equipping them with information to make a decision to vote.

That event was not serious and primarily was put together with non serious people, with non serious candidates. That leads to dumbing down the seriousness of the audience. It was a complete and abject farce.

What lie about his military service? You make the claim, so be very, very specific about what you think is a lie, back it up with evidence, or apologize and STFU. I am seriously tired of having people call anyone’s veteran service in the question, dismiss it, or criticize it, especially for purely political reasons. So, if you have some real evidence, put it up, or again, apologize and STFU.

I don’t know if you are a veteran or not, many of us here on FR, including Jim, are veterans. So again, be very careful about your criticism.

“While the title is a bit tongue-in-cheek, the conclusion is spot on. DeSantis won the debate.”

And the loser was the moderators for not asking any questions about Biden. The one I would have asked is, “by a show of hands, did Biden commit any crimes?”
