India by its constitution is SECULAR. Look up meaning of that word in dictionery.
In my own case, I spent 20 years of my life growing up in India. My best friends were Sikh, Muslims and Christians, even though I was born in a Hindu family. Nobody cares what your religion is except a few fanatics. In a population of 1500 million, there always will be few fanatics. Just go look at Bollywood, which produces more movies than any other couutry. Movies are the dominant entertainment in India. Guess what? You will find top actors and actressesfrom every religion there.
Think about this. India has more Muslims than most countries in the world. Yet not many Muslim fanatics (911 style) come from India. Because Muslims are well integrated into the society. They do not feel isolated. Ditto with millions of Christians.
-> India by its constitution is SECULAR
As per which ARTICLE(S) of the CONSTITUTION OF INDIA?
But in reality, it is anything but secular.
LK Advani, a leader of the BJP: “Everyone who lives in India must eitehr be Hindu or subservient to Hinduism.”
Maybe that’s why Nimrata went after Vivek so hard. Since he’s of Hindustani ancestry, I’d ask if his family has any connection to the RSS.
I’m sorry, but that’s just not true.
