You said, You're holding out for CNN?

In response to, Anyone who watches the debate on Fox is part of the problem.

Since your response is a presumption, I presume that you're expecting one of last night's debaters to become the nominee. (Or, should I presume "hoping"?)

Hmmm? Personally, I won't watch ANY debate until President Trump is on stage.

Presume whatever you'd like.

Hugh Hewitt played a clip of what was supposed to be a great moment for Haley, where she mocked Ramaswamy for lacking “foreign policy experience”. Haley you see was UN Ambassador! Whoop de doo.

We sure see the value of Biden’s foreign policy experience.

It seems the largest audience for this farce tonight was FR’s resident Neo-Cons.

You're right.

I am done reviewing their comments on this thread.

If Trump had taken the “respectful deference” tact in the 2016 primary debates, he would have never won the nomination.

Agree...Trump is the essential ingredient in the fight for this country's struggle against collectivism. Style aside, Ramaswammy gets the seriousness of what we face and deserves credit. He is a player and has a future in the American populist movement.

On the other hand, DeSantis would have been better advised to take the same path as Ramaswamy. Ron has made a serious miscalculation. IMO, outside of Scott and Haley as possible VP material for demographic consideration, the rest of the field is wasting their and my time.

We sure did!  It was fun at the time, in fact I had another series ready to post (food group on her head like the pancake stuff) and never did, woke up one day and it just wasn't funny. For those who never saw it:  I see the series is still up, hadn't looked in years, https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2569841/posts  Fun today though seeing Mooch fat and angry!

The brain dead criminal in the WH today is target rich yet the predicament of the present day is really sad, never thought I'd live long enough to see another president that actually makes Carter look good.  The line-up on the debates was really sad, just checking comments.  Seeing Xiden behind bars and living like the J6 folks would make for entertainment?  Glad to see you're OK :-)

“... Ramaswamy ... presentation was a little hurried at times maybe. But I think he is seen as a guy who is speaking truth to power and who wants to take on the system. “

I just watched some of the replay of the debate. Ramaswamy stood out as a rising star that would likely appeal to younger people. His comments were fresh and not repackaged stuff we are used to hearing but maybe not ready for prime time yet. VP candidate material.

Pence was plodding and old and just didn’t belong up there. He was a fine stalwart governor and should have stayed there and then retired.

DeSantis sounded good as usual. His talking points were pretty predictable. But I thought he and Ramaswamy probably did the best of what I saw. Rising star but should have waited for his turn in 2028.

Christie might have lost weight. He compared Ramaswamy to Obama which is probably true but it opened it up to the reminder of his Obama hug. It was a stupid moment.

Haley was Haley. Not impressed.

I actually liked Doug Burgum - of course not for President. But I was glad to hear his homey perspective. Decent guy.

The dems must have loved every minute of this fiasco watched the candidates trash themselves and the Republican party.

I have not found a complete transcript of the GOP debate from last night. But concerning the times these candidates focused on Trump, but I did find this.

Good point. Thanks for bringing some sanity by context to this.

There are more phones than TVs, or at least there could be.

Further, no matter how truly “viewed” it might be, not all those views are fans. Some hate his guts, some just don’t prefer Trump. But they want to watch it. That does not translate into votes, especially at General time.

Personally I can’t stomach watching pure enemies so I won’t watch Dem debates, but many people will watch the enemy.

This should really be called the battle for VP. No one is going to beat Trump in the primary. No one.

The deep state knows this. I fear for Trump's very life.
