Fox News reportedly told former President Donald Trump’s surrogates they are not allowed access to the post-debate “spin room” following Trump’s announcement that he would skip the debate due to a significant polling advantage.

Aides typically tout their candidates and criticize their opponents in the “spin room,” according to Axios.
However, Fox News is no longer allowing Trump’s team to represent the former president in the “spin room” due to Trump’s decision to skip the debate. The conservative cable news outlet said post-debate credentials would be given only to “participating candidate/campaigns,” according to a memo obtained by Axios.
Members of Trump’s campaign, including his senior advisers, were also planning on being in the Spin Room.
But Fox News is in charge of credentials for the Spin Room. The RNC manages credentials for the actual debate, and sources said those tickets are still expected be honored.

It’s a Presidential debate. None of the people on that Fox snooze stage is ever going to be president, so there’s no good reason for any of them to be there.
Why is this news?
He’s not going to attend the debate there is no reason they should let his surrogates in the post debate media confab.
I support Trump and see no issue with this.
Reality is Trumps livestream will get far more eyeballs than this “debate of the establishment shills” will ever get, and Fox and the entire establishment media and political class know this. Let them do whatever they want with their “debates”, rearranging the chairs on their titanic isn’t going to change anything.
I don’t watch FOX News for the same reason that I don’t eat out of the toilet.

When debate starts they should all speak in unison and say “We support PT and together walk off stage.” MAGA…just dreaming.

Pick Fox’s leftwing sponsors and do a massive boycott. People do not understand when Conservatives actually band together to do something, we are unstoppable. Our biggest issue has always been leadership in the peoples ranks. Look at the TEA party. Imagine what they could have done if they actually had leadership and banded together across the country.
It’s the rats biggest fear and yet we do nothing.

True, actually. Trump supporters would essentially be bleacher kibitzers. OTOH a debate among 2-3 percenters without Trump will be a ratings flop of historic proportions. Who wants to see Asa Hutchinson spar with Chris Christie.
Perhaps it will be in the aftermath of this debate that the GOP finally realizes there are now three parties.
