I greatly admire my governor. He is a good man and has done wonders for Florida. What I really want is for Trump to win, serve four years with blood in his eye and revenge on his mind. The have DeSantis for eight year to clean up the mistakes Trump makes because of his egoism bordering on megalomania and the remaining errors/crimes of the Biden presidency that Trump overlooks. Therefore, although I am convinced his "warp-speed" vaccine (that he boasts about) killed my brother, I will vote for him in the primary and election (if I live that long having had two of his Pfizer clot-shots).

The surrogates around DeSantis and the campaign have essentially become the Never Trump crowd. The entire operation screams uniparty, establishment Republicanism. Personally, I’ve held my nose for a few decades and voted uniparty, but won’t be making that mistake again.

Trump voters and Republican voters are not the same thing. Overlap? Sure. But the core of Trump voters aren’t Republican voters. Many Trump voters won’t feel represented by a uniparty Republican and will just stay home.

I just previously “thought” I had seen nasty coming from political opponents....and I’ve been on leftist forums for decades giving them hell and observing their behavior. Turns out, I had seen nothing like the hateful BS coming from some of the MAGA TrumpOnly people here against DeSantis...a solid conservative who has done well thwarting the globalist left as governor of Florida. Seriously... who knew that anyone could actually be worse than leftist Democrats when it comes to bashing, unfairly attacking and outright lying about their opposition? There will be no truce among those unreasonable ones. Nice delusion, though.
