Democrats and the liberal media have a ready distraction. Every day is Trump, Trump, Trump. And, of course, The Don is happy to oblige their monomania.
Trump’s followers may think they’re sticking it to this consortium by continuing to back him. But Trump is only in it for himself, both as retribution for the election he lost and a get-out-of-jail free card for the prosecutions he faces. January 6 was a national travesty, and he is to blame for it.
Some of the prosecutions may be unfair, but Trump is no victim. He did try to overturn an election. And he did take classified documents.
A new poll by the Associated Press shows that 53% of Americans will never vote for Trump, for those reasons and others.
If Trump wins the Republican nomination, every progressive politician and news anchor will rejoice, knowing that’s all they need to discuss until Election Day. Everyone will be talking about the elephant in the room instead of the ass in the White House.
Biden’s poll numbers are so low, his policies so destructive, that he cannot win a second term — unless Trump is the nominee.

I don’t know who at the Post Editorial Board wrote this, but they have their cranium firmly ensconced in their rectum.
1) Trump DID NOT try and overturn an election. He objected to what was essentially an anointing and a railroading.
2) our problems will not be fixed until 2020 is corrected. This affects all of us.
3) Trump did not “steal” classified documents. As has been litigated here extensively already, as President, he had the right to them underneath the Presidential Records Act.

DeSantis has poor character. He stabbed in the back the ONLY person on earth who had the power to make his governorship possible — and did it. He had FL law revised to allow him to run for POTUS while in FL office. He clearly said he would not run for POTUS if Trump did. He flip-flopped within 24 hours on Ukraine. (A person with core beliefs “sticks”.)
You have to wonder about any person who could vote for that guy.

I don’t know, but it feels more and more that Free Republic is devolving into a place for spineless RINOs with no taste for fighting for what’s right.
This makes me so sad. There’s a lot of social media out there, but before all of them, there was Free Republic, full of patriots and a haven away from the MSM where we could vent and strategize. For years we lamented that all we had to vote for was RINOs and leftists in conservative clothing. With Trump, all that changed. ALL of that changed.
Here’s the truth: If we abandon Trump now, we have no chance to take our country back from the Deep State. I wish people understood this instead of throwing this country’s best champion to the leftist wolves.

From that link, it seems to show election year and counties either won by R’s or D’s in that election.
And the real outlier is 2020 where the R won most of the counties, yet lost to D, unlike the other years, where the winner of most of those counties, didn’t end up losing the general election.
It defied the statistics that previous Presidential elections followed.
And it feels like an odd one because Trump actually had leads in a number of states at night, where counting stopped, then by the morning,Biden jumped ahead.
