Biden is a disaster — which is why we need someone better than Trump to beat him
New York Post ^ | August 17, 2023

**SNIP**

Democrats and the liberal media have a ready distraction. Every day is Trump, Trump, Trump. And, of course, The Don is happy to oblige their monomania.

Trump’s followers may think they’re sticking it to this consortium by continuing to back him. But Trump is only in it for himself, both as retribution for the election he lost and a get-out-of-jail free card for the prosecutions he faces. January 6 was a national travesty, and he is to blame for it.

Some of the prosecutions may be unfair, but Trump is no victim. He did try to overturn an election. And he did take classified documents.

A new poll by the Associated Press shows that 53% of Americans will never vote for Trump, for those reasons and others.

If Trump wins the Republican nomination, every progressive politician and news anchor will rejoice, knowing that’s all they need to discuss until Election Day. Everyone will be talking about the elephant in the room instead of the ass in the White House.

Biden’s poll numbers are so low, his policies so destructive, that he cannot win a second term — unless Trump is the nominee.

Trump will do just fine.

He'll lose to Biden and his legacy will be destroyed for losing two consecutive terms to Biden and handing this country over to Authoritarian Democrats.

I have to admit Vivek is starting to impress me. He’s saying all of the right things and is sticking up for Trump. I’m hoping Trump chooses him as a running mate. DeSantis is irrelevant at this point.

“no other poltician would be indicted for it.”

The allegations against Trump are penny-ante crap compared to what the others get away with.

Hillary paid Steele $1 million through three firewalls for the bogus “dossier” to destroy Trump’s candidacy and presidency. She destroyed massive amounts of physical evidence (servers and phones). She was never held to account.

Biden has taken $10 million to $100 million of bribes through an intricate web of shell companies. He will never be held to account.

If Trump is serious about winning the White House, he'll have to pick a pro-choice woman as his VP. I don't think that tactic will work. But it'll be a hail mary.

Would any of the people listed clean up the bureaucracy or merely change a few agency heads? In other words, the Bush Administrations moved into the 2020s.

Not that Trump was perfect; his handling of COVID was abysmal and he made some horrible personnel choices, from Mike Pence forward. Yet it is possible that Trump has been chastened by his term and will choose better people in a second term. Ivana and Jared Kushner have stepped away, and with any luck, McConnell will retire for health reasons.

The fear of a Trump second term is why the Democrats are "throwing the book" at him, hoping to imprison him on either Federal or state charges. In prison, Trump may meet the fate of Jeffrey Epstein or Whitey Bulger, cameras off, guards away, all through coincidence, of course. Alternatively, Trump may be eliminated with extreme prejudice.

Well, if Donald Trump isn’t the nominee, I hope it’ll be either Vivek Ramaswamy or Ron DeSantis.

Bush Crime Family, Inc. and Tokyo Rove appreciate your support.

He had his chance and blew it. Of course it was not fair. But it is what it is.

Time to move on.

Ramaswamy’s parents immigrated from India to the US before Vivek was born, in 1985. Vivek was born August 9, 1985 in Cincinnati, OH

According to the time needed to become citizens they would have been unable to become citizens before his birth.

I have not seen information on whether they are now citizens.
Vivek wants to end birthrite citizenship which is a great idea but ironically that is his claim to American citizenship at birth.
To be eligible for U.S. citizenship, you must meet certain eligibility requirements, including being:

At least 18 years old when you apply
Able to read, write, and speak basic English (depending on age)
Of good moral character
You must also be in one of these categories:

Lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder) of five years
Married to a U.S. citizen
U.S. military service member (active duty or veteran)
Child of a U.S. citizen

the people who write and support these types of articles are NOT anti-Biden, they are anti-Trump, anti-MAGA ... you watch: nearly everyone of them will suddenly switch to attacking Trump and supporting Biden once Trump secures the GOP nomination, including the legion of anti-Trump trolls on FR, the latter of whom will either evaporate here or be zapped ...

You are just pushing lies.
Women do not hate Trump.
That is a uni-party meme. Look at the crowds at any rally, look at the women for Trump signs.
Every woman in my family including my 102 year old aunt from Brooklyn is a Trump support (she sadly died in February).
If you believe the polls, the meme you are pushing about Biden Trump is a lie too. Most polls show Trump ahead while Desantis loses to Biden.
There is no better candidate than Trump and this relentless attack on him by supposed Republicans tells me all I need to know about those attackers and what future they want for our Country.

Well after they allowed Obama in then I would say Vivek is eligible too. He was born here and grew up as an American. I have no problem with that.

The problem is that, with the possible exception of Vivek Ramaswamy, the field of Republican contenders is filled with people who will not clean up the rot that dominates the Federal military and police forces as well as the entire bureaucracy, from DOJ to the EPA. We cannot have the Bush Administrations revisited.

Look behind the curtain shrouding this 37 year old biotech manipulator who has scrubbed the internet of his history on multiple platforms.
His positions have been very different in the past and he is deeply involved with the large drug companies. He is looking to advance his opportunities and theirs. As a salesman he knows what to say now to sell himself.

Good for you.
I believe in the Constitution which uses the words Natural born Citizen in only two places, qualification for President and Vice President. The distinction was purposeful & is explained by contemporaneous essays by the Founders.
Also letters by the founders state it is essential that any President should not have divided loyalties to America & another Nation.
Children born in America to citizens of other countries are citizens of that country at birth through their parents. They, by definition, have divided loyalty. They are not eligible to become President. Children of naturalized American citizens are eligible because they have no divided loyalty on the basis of citizenship.

Well I’ve been watching this guy and he boldly says all of the right things. Is he a phony? That’s possible and I will examine him closely. He seems to have all of the right values and he’s not afraid to express those values. He’s also a smart guy and the media won’t be able to jerk him around. It doesn’t bother me that he’s of Indian ancestry. I’m interested in his political agenda and the ideas he expresses. I think some of y’all need to get over your bias and give this guy a chance. It’s Trump now but Vivek in ‘28. DeSantis is done for and the polls clearly show that.
