More than half of Americans surveyed said they would not support former President Trump in the 2024 general election if he is the Republican nominee, according to a new poll.
The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll released Wednesday found that 53 percent of Americans said they would definitely not support Trump if he was the nominee. Another 11 percent saying that they would probably not support him.

Opposition to President Biden is not as strong as it is for Trump, with just 43 percent of Americans saying that would definitely not vote for him in 2024. Another 11 percent said they probably would not.

Well. lodi90, that is only partially correct. Trump only won because Hillary and the Dems miscalculated how much they had to cheat in order to “win”. The Dems could run an artichoke and win with their masterful ballot-box tricks, sycophantic press and our limp-waisted judicial system which includes the Supremes who would not take up a case brought by Texas and 19 other states !! Face it, the system is rigged and we are not likely to ever again see a Conservative or Republican presidency in our lifetimes!

There’s a likely hood that the person pulling the Biden/Harris strings will show himself once Biden becomes totally incapacitated either mentally or physically.

FReepers think their views on Trump are dominant in the Republican party, but they are not. However, they do pile on when you try to discuss reality with them.

The electoral college won’t look much better. Does it look like Trump is going to carry GA?
And any poll showing a candidate would probably not get 2/3 of any electorate is not good. This is the type of poll that brings out the long knives in party politics. The down ticket will get slaughtered.

Short memory I see, forgot how Trump could not win in 2016 and how most the MSM polls showed him losing massively?
I am not even a Trump fan but I know enough to challenge the uni-party narrative.
I read the Trump indictment from GA, it is embarrassing even for a third world banana republic, yet people here selectively lend credibility to all those organizations (like the MSM) who parrot the GA indictment and the propaganda the MSM produces in support of elections.
Simple test, if Trump was such an absolute loser for the 2024 general, why the risk of such an obvious and egregious persecution of Trump in GA? Apparently the democrats do not believe Trump is a guaranteed loser.
Regimes do not waste their time on opposition that poses no threat.
