I am sure the demonkkraps would not want to face either of them.

The problem DeSantis has is that he has to convince millions of Trump voters to vote for him should Trump not be nominated. For those millions, just voting for the GOP nominee is not going to cut it anymore. They learned from the GOPe, who openly did not support or help Trump when he was the candidate or even the POTUS. [I don’t mean to imply the DeSantis is GOPe though I have seen comments here about who is $upporting him. DeSantis may have wrongly chosen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.]

The thing is, all of the current candidates are tainted, because the perception is they all think they are better than Trump, or are just expecting Trump to be taken out of the picture.

Which is why my theory is, if it’s not Trump, the nominee will be someone who isn’t currently in the race. Someone who is keeping their shirt nice and clean, waiting for it all to blow over before jumping in.

And most likely that’s going to be Governor Youngkin.
