Now you know why places are banning natural gas hookups. So even if you have a natural gas generator you can’t run it. Your heat and AC are essential if you live in a cold or hot climate.

We are well past the point of people needing to start saying “no” to this crap, and I’m at the point that I don’t much care what form that “no” takes. When an unelected bureaucrat in the executive branch decides if an when I can have electricity, or what kind of appliances I can have, or what kind of car I can drive, or what kind of lightbulb I have to use of an evening to light my book, then I have to doubt how free I am. And this is just one of their attacks on liberty. How is what we now have even close to what true American government should be? We’re getting close to what the old communist regimes pulled in their propaganda— they were people’s democracies and had true freedom and equality and the government was working to preserve democracy and freedom — and everyone, including the communists in charge, knew it was b———t.

We got to live through that blackout. 48 hours with no power. Below 10F at night. BUT the powers at ERCOT who DONT live here didn’t lost their power. Good on them.

Why these institutions like the EPA and many others, are allowed to make rules and regulations is beyond me. It’s unconstitutional yet it’s allowed to go on.
Congress makes laws and no other body can. SCOTUS should be shutting this shxt down and I thought at one point it was going to happen.
Then obviously the herd needs to be thinned.
