Interesting to hear that, because the conventional wisdom, has been that Democrat voters are lazy and don’t come out in special elections and off year elections.
I think that conventional wisdom about Democrats gets turned on its head when you have mail-in ballots and “single-issue” voting on things like abortion and marijuana legalization.
This was a mistake by the Ohio GOP. They got an awful lot of people who never vote fired up.
Since trump, democrats have been highly motivated to vote. They do the work in registering and getting people to the polls. Republicans rely on personal responsibility. Well this is the result.
