Let’s be honest..
You spent time in NY..
Are you safer in Bed Stuy than you are on the Upper West Side generally speaking?
Think about any large urban area, do most white people avoid certain areas at certain times?
I’m not arguing the exception, I’m arguing the general rule.
When black athletes, entertainers and executives who come from the ghetto, strike it rich...do they move back there?
I love honesty.
There are lots of correlations out there.
Many people are driven by correlations.
For example, the overall crime rate in Bedford-Stuyvesant (which is 40% black) is higher than that on the Upper West Side (8.5% black). Thus, many people associate blacks with higher crime rates.
At the same time, the property crime rate for the largely-white Upper West Side is higher than that for the largely-black Bedford-Stuyvesant. Thus, we should associate whites with higher property crime rates.
I get your point.
