Democrats are drastically overperforming in 2023's special elections.
They've had some time to perfect the ballot-harvesting games they play, so you have to expect improved performance. Republicans need to at least start playing the same game if they're going to have any hope. Unfortunately, the RNC is led by Mitt Romney's clueless niece.

Trump’s pick.
************
Who should be head of the RNC?
Here is the background on the runner-up:
Harmeet Dhillon, Civil Rights Attorney, RNC National Committeewoman for California (2016–Present), Chair of National Republican Lawyers Association, and former Vice Chair of the California Republican Party[9][10]

According to that article abortion is driving the Democrat success. I gather that is why Trump attacked DeSantis for signing the Florida bill that prohibits most abortions early in the pregnancy.

“Sounds like a winner.”(sarcasm)Trump liked Dhillon enough to hire her as legal advisor for his 2020 campaign.
She certainly couldn't do a worse job than Romney-McDaniel.

...due in part to a notable chunk of undecided voters and apprehension over Biden's age and acuity, which he has repeatedly dismissed.Sure...his age is to blame, not the money issues with his son.
Now we can see why the MSM pushed his age so hard as being a problem with voters...
It's a convenient excuse for poor performance.

According to that article abortion is driving the Democrat success. They use The Narrative to cover the ballot manufacturing.
Also, in special "elections", they need less money to manufacture ballots [around 40-50 bucks a ballot, on average].

Dhillon actually wanted to build out our own ballot harvesting/fraud infrastructure while Romney campaigned on losing with dignity. In other words, Dhillon wanted to fix the critical problem facing us and the reason why Trump lost while Romney wanted to get fatter eating expensive fundraiser foods. Naturally, Stupid endorsed Romney.

I believe it has to do with the abortion issue. Dem women are obsessed with the issue.
It’s number one on their Hit Parade with a bullet.

Really? So how are they still losing races in deep red places - but by much closer margins than normal?

Depends on how much money they have to spend.
You'll notice that in 2022, they crushed the Red Senate Wave.
HOWEVER - they pulled the ballot money from Florida and Georgia to spend on the US Senate "elections".
Note too that in California, the Republicans did not lose a single House seat - and actually picked up a couple of newly created seats. Not enough cash in California.
Same with New York US House seats. Lost all the Long Island House seats, and took Sean Patrick Maloney's seat [chair of the DCCC].

I have a ballot fraud tool. :)
