In the first place Trump said “IF”.

As far as I know Smith has never said he would “go after” Trump. Smith maintains he is just doing his job of treating everyone equal.

I don’t think President Trump statement applies to Smith; unless Smith is doing something crooked.

Trump posted on Truth Social Friday night the following statement: ‘IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I’M COMING AFTER YOU’

Trump is the victim of legal and political persecution. As such, he needs to focus on defending himself and reducing the attack surface he gives his enemies. Posting what he did accomplishes nothing, except to give his followers some red meat which they don't need.

Smith’s main problem is that he opened a real can of worms.

Trump can now open up every swing state and subpoena any person or
election documentation his team needs. Smith walked right into a biz saw
and before this is over, Trump is going to be proven the winner in 2020.

All this because Smith was ordered to do it, and he wanted to make a name

Unlike most cases, where the Federal prosecutor gets a 97% conviction rate because he produces draconian sentencing to induce a plea bargain.

Trump is saying not guilty.... see you in court......I want a trial.

There will be many delays in these bogus cases, but it’s important that once they happen, we get some Trump partisans on the juries.
