We deserve to know how the process works in choosing the judges. It basically decides the case.
I am a strong DeSantis supporter but definitely support Trump in this unfair “law-fare” struggle with the DOJ. He’s the enemy of my enemy so he’s got my support.
I think it's the cheating factor that will swing to the winner.
I agree nothing has “backfired”. This is a well-orchestrated effort to ensure Trump gets the GOP nomination. In 2016, Trump narrowly defeated Hillary with 45.9% of the vote. In 2020, he received 46.9% of the vote. Democrat strategists know that’s a ceiling he has no chance of breaking through, especially with his 60% disapproval rating.
Even the feeble, scandal-ridden Biden would eke out a win against Trump by (a) staying in his basement, and (b) running $2B in slickly produced “feel good” ads in the swing states.
It’s too bad the Trump loyalists can’t foresee this outcome. The scariest part of all is that Biden will shortly thereafter hand the keys over to Kamala Harris.

People who were ALL clearly innocent of doing anything other than protesting and reacting to the orchestrated BS that the left staged that day. Every one of them was convicted. Every one. Grannies. People who were invited into the capital by the police. Even people who didn't go in have been convicted. No weapons, no intent, no real violence other than self-defense reaction. My brother was in DC that day. He was lucky that after Trump's speech his wife had a headache and they went to the hotel.
If not he would be in prison. Along with all the others who were set up and railroaded.

You are construing “backfired” to the ultimate outcome of the election 15 months away. Others are viewing it as an attempt to lessen the regard of the people for Trump, period. They want to lower his favorability to the teens.
