Read this WEAK statement from Rob DeSantis.

He is using the political persecution of Trump to advance his own political interests.

DeSantis wants Trump taken out by the DOJ just as bad as Biden does. Nasty guy!

Nothing weak about that statement — it tells exactly what’s needed and what he’s going to do. He has already said that he will pardon trump.

“DeSantis is a zombie candidate. He is dead politically but he just doesn’t know it yet.”

BINGO.

Actually, I think DeSantis maybe the Marco Rubio of this cycle.

This is still Trump’s nomination to lose. But, the Rs may turn to someone like Mike Pompeo or Greg Abbott if Trump fumbles the ball.

Need a link where Trump suggested Meatball is a pedophile. RDS supporters just make accusations and provide nothing to back up their assertions.

Just saying if he was and the front runner, would DJT be throwing shade for him?

He isn’t going to win so he isn’t going to do anything. It was a bland statement. He couldn’t even say Trump’s name. Vivek came out with a more realistic meaningful statement against the persecution of Trump then Desantis could muster up.

Trump gets another bogus indictment, and DeSantis talks about himself.

He’s like Obama, everything is in reference to himself.

Right. The name isn’t Rob and the statement wasn’t weak. One side led by Trump (and this poster) wants to divide us and turn ourselves against each other. DeSantis has only tried to unify our side and defeat the left. If people don’t like DeSantis or think he can’t turn things around, well that’s why we have primaries.

Interesting that one candidate won’t commit to supporting the eventual nominee, won’t commit to debate, and is eligible for only one term right as he says one term wasn’t enough.

You’re assuming I’m supporting ROB DeSantis. Just because I don’t believe in insulting fellow Republicans, doesn’t mean I support those being insulted. My focus is on winning. I would like to see a candidate that can do the impossible job of consolidating the base, choking off third party insurgencies, and appealing to swing and independent voters. Trump has oodles of charisma. Very big positive. But he’s a mixed bag. Who isn’t? I mean, who other than Ronald Reagan isn’t? We’ll see how this plays out.

BTW I had as much fun as anybody back in 2012 with the Mitt Romney cardboard cut-outs.

The guy’s running with absolutely no chance to win. He does have a Uniparty/Soros kangaroo court lottery ticket in his back pocket. If he craps out on that he can always take what’s left of the Uniparty cash he’s collected home as a lovely parting gift.

Come on man. That’s an article from 2021, and DeSantis says nothing about 2020 being stolen. You’re passing off the columnists editorializing as if they were DeSantis’s words.

FROM THE ARTICLE:

“One of Florida’s most prominent newspapers published a scathing article slamming Governor Ron DeSantis, a Republican, for promoting the “Big Lie” that the 2020 election was fraudulent through his signing of a controversial election bill on Thursday.

State Republican lawmakers across the country have pushed for major election reforms and restrictions following President Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 election, as well as Democrats narrowly flipping control of the Senate. DeSantis signed a GOP-backed election bill on Thursday, as former President Donald Trump—a Florida resident—and his allies continue to groundlessly claim that the 2020 election was “rigged” or “stolen” as they push for the election changes.

The oppressive law perpetuates the Big Lie of a stolen election by insinuating that Florida election laws needed fixing or don’t prevent fraud.

DeSantis signed a new election bill that changed election law in Florida. DeSantis never claimed 2020 was stolen. He’s consistently said that he believes there was election fraud but not enough to have changed the outcome, and he’s hoping people like you won’t make the distinction.

Here’s an article discussing the legislation in question.

https://www.newsweek.com/desantis-florida-bill-lawsuit-1589352

“Provisions of the bill—called Senate Bill 90—include stricter voter ID requirements for voting by mail, adding limits on who can pick up and return a voter’s ballot, and banning private funding for elections. Restrictions created by the bill include expanding partisan observation power during ballot tabulation and creating more rules regarding drop box use for absentee ballots.”

“especially like his idea of moving such trials out of DC...”

Many of the acts he is being charged with are political and not civilian. Some of the tactics used in this is going to fall into federal regulation through the DOD, the cabinet, homeland security, and select parts of the DOJ. These are areas the states can’t and shouldn’t be ruling on with a selected jury or even a federal judge at that level. It’s kind of like forcing them to clean up their own mess...still in the public eye.

And how they determine this is going to have a direct effect on possible follow on investigations of Hilary, Joe, and the approach to people like some of these whistleblowers that used inside computer information to do what they did. If it goes to a lower court, it gives the real problem children an opportunity to bury it there and keep it out of their house.

It is indeed Ron but those who don’t like him childishly call him Rob, meatball and all the rest of Trump’s deliberate name-mangling. Not sure why it seems appealing to some.

And then there are people who see how weaponizing the justice system is not just about abusing the rights of one person but also about making a travesty of justice for all Americans.

spineless wimpy Ron-duh Santis dances all around the mention of Trump but doesn’t dare state his name.

Ron-Duh ADDS to the persecution of Trump and is not really worthy of the position he is currently in since he only ran for Governor to try to spring board to president.

Glad God will handle him and his grubby wife since I wouldn’t be so merciful.
