Ramaswamy’s sympathetic stance towards the vaccines is unsurprising given that his company, Roivant Sciences, teamed up with Pfizer last year to market RVT-3101, an inflammatory disease drug developed by Pfizer.
However, while the 37-year-old did not appear to fundamentally contest forced vaccinations, mask mandates or lockdowns during the pandemic, he has since adopted a strong anti-mandate position.
“[I’m] dead set against vaccine mandates and I think that that was one of the major learnings from the last pandemic,” Ramaswamy told political commentator Jack Posobiec last week assertively.
Furthermore, despite backing the FDA-authorized COVID-19 injections, Ramaswamy now says he knew the FDA was “a disastrous and corrupt organization” all along and that the vaccine’s safety was questionable.

Vivek has been a little all over the place on vaccinations. The same can be said of President Trump. I'm not sure I blame either, as this has been new ground for a lot of people.
Vivek is smart and articulate. He has no track record. DeSantis and Trump have excellent track records. DeSantis should remember the first rule of holes: When you are in a hole, stop digging.

I found Ramaswamy to be an interesting fellow with interesting ideas. Then he came out in favor of the Trans Pacific Partnership. The TPP would gut what’s left of America’s middle class. Trump realized that, and cancelled the TPP when he was in office.
So I now don’t care what Ramaswamy might say on other issues. He’s off my list, permanently. Of course, your mileage may vary.
I also heard he is a vegetarian. Can a vegetarian be a real American?

We shouldn’t be race obsessed. That’s the democrats. Being race obsessed is one kind of racism, regardless of whether it is for or against a particular group.
Besides the article, there is an embedded video. What he said sounds pretty good to me. Words aren’t everything, but they are something.
Vivek has some issues with his past. It’s not unreasonable to wonder about his sincerity or his ability to stay strong under fire. Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump also had issues with their past. Reagan’s commitment to conservatism was battle-tested in Government as Governor of California. Trump’s first office was the Presidency! He has since proven himself in my eyes.
I am solidly behind Trump. As for Vivek, well, it’s not President in 2024. I think he would be a great asset, if his commitment to conservate American principles is true and strong. In my opinion, it’s too soon to write him off. If he’s a phony, well he’s not alone! In the meantime, he’s certainly worth listening to.

I don’t know anything about TPP, but you are probably right. If we need legislation on trade, maybe it should be in baby steps so that everyone can see what is going on.
Democrats love “comprehensive” legislation. They like to make sweeping changes in our lives because it looks like they are doing great things. The problem is that they are more likely to do terrible things.
