The era of global warming has ended and “the era of global boiling has arrived”, the UN secretary general, António Guterres, has said after scientists confirmed July was on track to be the world’s hottest month on record.

Yeah, this solar cycle started in 2019 and it’s peak is predicted in 2025, so we are close to it.
It’s not the hottest on record - just the hottest in their lifetime (which to them, is all the history that matters!).

Big difference between atmospheric heat and ground heat. This is atmospheric heat that eventually dissipates.

Even above ground temps, over the years, is biased towards GlowBull Boiling. Stab from 16 years ago - weather stations used to be whitewashed, now latex paints are used, biasing the thermometers inside:

It was hot here in the Mississippi delta for a week or two but otherwise it’s been mid nineties, which is quite normal.
