CHICAGO — A man charged last month with committing a series of armed robberies in the Loop is now accused of committing even more holdups in the neighborhood, Chicago police said Wednesday.
Jorge Gonzales, 23, has only lived in Chicago for about six months, officials say. But he’s making quite a splash if the allegations against him are true.
Late last month, prosecutors said Gonzales and another man rode bikes from one robbery to another early on June 25 and ultimately carjacked a man. So far, Gonzales is the only person officials have charged.
The June 25 spree began around 2 a.m. in the 100 block of West Ida B. Wells. A CPD spokesperson said two victims, a 20-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, were walking when the two robbers confronted them. The men displayed a gun, took the victims’ property, and fled north on Federal Street.

Chicago needs some street justice. The recidivism rate for dead thugs is 0.00%.
I guess “newcomer” is the new synonym of choice. Red states should accelerate their bussing of “newcomers” to the sanctuary cities such as Chicago and New York.
That's how it's usually done in Guatemala.
