There is very little impact in my country. It’s one of the reasons I moved here.

FWIW, when I see problems in countries like California and NY, I interpret them the same as the problems in France and Germany. Not my country. However, they concern me when the problems are caused by the federation of which we are all a member: The USA.
But fortunately, most of the problems these countries are suffering are caused by their own governments and laws.
