The Bronze Star he got is an award that was handed out like tic tacs for folks deployed.
It’s an administrative award, while serving in a combat theater. The non-combat theater equivalent is the, meritorious service award. And rout it given to officers and senior NCOs to pad their resumes.
If it was a Bronze Star w V Device it means he did something in combat.
Audie Murphy he is not. And it’s pretty pathetic that you would insinuate anything more.
