When a govt thinks it can just outlaw functional useful items on a whim then the people have no freedom at all. The American government has no such power.

While you’re correct, unfortunately it appears only on paper. They have given themselves such authority, which they also don’t have the right to do...but they are. Also known as lawless...but that is where we are.
