Massachusetts Calls on Residents to Take Border Crossers into Their Homes
Breitbart ^ | 07/17/2023 | John Binder

Massachusetts officials are now asking residents to take border crossers and illegal aliens into their homes as illegal immigration continues adding to the state’s homeless population.

Gov. Maura Healey (D) is calling on residents with empty bedrooms in their homes and apartments to consider taking in border crossers and illegal aliens, WBUR reports:

Massachusetts officials are seeking residents willing to host newly arrived families in need of shelter. Hosts are asked to provide a room or apartment for a few days, until longer-term accommodations can be arranged. [Emphasis added]

A significant portion of the families in need of housing in the state are new immigrants. Many of those arriving in Boston have fled violence in Haiti and traveled through other states before coming to Massachusetts. [Emphasis added]

Of course, one’s first question is how many of these “border crossers” are moving into the Governor’s residence? Zero?

That many, huh?

In a sane world taking in illegals would be a crime for aiding and abetting.

Democrats are so naive and stupid when it comes to the illegals.

It's not incompetence.
It's intentional.

Come-on all you bleeding heart, illegal immigrant-loving liberals, take them in, it'll only be for a few days.

😂😂😂😂

Today: “We’re asking you to take them into your homes.”

Soon: (knock knock) “GET OUT. We’re giving your home to these wonderful undocumented citizens. They deserve it more than you.”

Oh, right. Of all the cock-eyed ideas! Are the people of Massachusetts even allowed to bear arms to defend themselves?

Are you insane? Who would let strangers, let alone unknown criminals, come into their home? And STAY there? Completely nuts-—but completely possible from a deformed libtard brain!

It's their duty and the fair thing to do. After all, the people in charge and who allow illegals into the country, were voted by the voters in Mass and other liberal partsof the country. All illegals should be forced into the blue cities and blue states. It's the fair thing to do, and the moral thing to do.

Yeah 60 years ago the officials would be asking people to help round up illegals.

Rather ironic...
Massachusetts Declaration of Rights – Article 27: Quartering of Soldiers

Article 27 (1780)

In time of peace, no soldier ought to be quartered in any house without the consent of the owner; and in time of war, such quarters ought not to be made but by the civil magistrate, in a manner ordained by the legislature.

And the Third Amendment to the US Constitution:
No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
Considering that we are in a de facto war with Mexico, these people should be declared soldiers or combatants and this could be construed to violate the Third Amendment as well as the Massachusetts Declaration of Rights.

Yeah, I know this is a stretch, but I find it ironic that this very thing was a major ignition point for the Revolutionary War.

The Masshole Democrats (only in the endearing sense, mind you) should go ahead and pass a state law requiring citizens to quarter illegals in their homes and to feed them and to buy them winter coats, etc.

What could go wrong?

So how long before mandatory letters for billeting illegals in your home come in mail with number of people you have to have in your home and when they arrive?
