The Georgia Supreme Court on Monday unanimously dismissed a longshot bid by former President Donald Trump to disqualify quash the special grand jury report that recommended criminal charges in the Fulton County district attorney’s probe of Georgia’s 2020 election.
The state Supreme Court also rejected Trump’s request that it bar Fulton DA Fani Willis from continuing to oversee the criminal investigation.
The ruling came weeks before Willis is expected to seek indictments in the probe of efforts by Trump and his allies to overturn President Joe Biden’s 2020 electoral victory over him in the Peach State.

Trump's lawyers simply filed directly to the GA Supreme Court. They perhaps don't trust the GA lower court.
The GA Supreme Court, simply said, start with the lower court.
No my question is if these attorneys are competent? They didn’t just lose, they got smacked down 0-8.
Trump and the lawyers probably wanted a fair ruling and they wanted it quickly. So they skipped the lower court and threw a Hail Mary pass.

The Supreme Court also said the claims which served as a basis for the Writs were baseless and the requested relief was without merit.
Let him follow the proper process like everyone else is supposed to.

It never ceases to amaze me how every single time Trump files a lawsuit or faces a legal challenge the judge always turns out to be a member of the Deep State. You'd think he'd catch a break at least once.

Georgia is lost. It is no longer a southern state in my humble southern opinion. Georgia, mainly Atlanta and metro Atlanta which has spread further and further out into the smaller cities outside and is taking them over also, is GONE!! Georgia has been taken over by liberals, commies, socialists, whinebags, that have moved into the city from the Yankee liberal north. Georgia was marched through by Sherman. Now it is marched through and occupied by communists from the north. The line is drawn at the Alabama state line. We are still the most Christian and conservative state in this Republic and we intent to remain that way until the Rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ!!! LORD willing!! Up the Republic!!
