While discussing artificial intelligence with civil rights leaders and consumer protection experts, Vice President Kamala Harris gave a concise explanation for the technology.
“AI is kind of a fancy thing — first of all, it's two letters — it means artificial intelligence,” Harris said Wednesday during the AI roundtable. “It's about machine learning. And so the machine is taught.”
The vice president talked about the inherent risks tied to AI and how the Biden administration should regulate the rapidly advancing technology as the White House and Congress ramp up efforts to tackle national security concerns related to the field.

Kamala’s speeches sound like she is reading from a Dr Suess
book. How she got a college degree and graduated from law school is beyond me
AI has been around for 50 years.
I would have told her that it means Artificial Insemination and let her say that.
