Keeping the prestigious super carriers in service has costs don’t you know?
Definitely the kind of information that should be public knowledge. /s
Its called BLOAT
The US military has about forty-four 4-Star Generals.
Last time we had that rank density was April 1945, when we had four 5-stars and thirteen 4-stars. And that’s when 12 million men were under arms.
Of course, generals don’t fix submarines, but its indicative of a highly bloated, highly political, and needlessly expensive bureaucracy. The DoD is just another very expensive progressive/left jobs program.
‘shipbuilding’ should not interfere with ‘repairing’ existing vessels. Get a brain.
So, is it 35% or 39% or 25%?
Getting Rainbow paint jobs in dry dock.
Nice OpSec…
No, it isn’t that. It is that there are not adequate facilities to perform maintenance. Not a money thing, as far as I have heard. It is capable facilities...and a lack of qualified labor.
This is how much the mediaPUKES despise anything American, American people, and our military. Why are they telegraphing this sensitive information to our enemies? Because they despise the USA and desperately need a war. $$
Wait. Lets talk priorities.
Do soliders use proper pronouns?
Are LGBTAGQXYZ123 people feeling welcome?
Have we analyzed what carbon footprint our subs cost the environment?
Racial & gender quotas not met for the year?
It’s very apparent that the only people in the world that didn’t know that was the US citizens. Glad they let it out. I hate secrets (?). Never known one to stay that way.

But trillions$ for “green” “infrastructure”.
“...the backlog was due to “insufficient numbers of workers and facility constraints” at naval shipyards as well as “supply chain issues,”
China, Russia...are you listening?
So, when’ Tom Cruise going to make a movie about an ocean-going naval fueler ship...
Superstar fuel transfer officer loses his nerve, but meets hot female contractor that helps him get his mojo back in time to refuel that fleet of littoral combat ships...
The problem is with the government owned shipyards. Who would have thunk?
US shipyard capacity: 100,000 tons
Chinese shipyard capacity: 23,250,000 million tons
Gotta keep that social spending up.
Right on schedule for America’s defeat before the 2024 election.
Unfortunately, of the last five Presidents, only one(George W. Bush) had military experience.
1993 Bill Clinton
2009 Barak Obama
2017 Donald Trump
2021 Joe Biden
So much for the responsibility and title of “Commander in Chief”
