House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, is pushing for the FBI to build new headquarters in Huntsville, Alabama, instead of Washington, D.C., to take politics out of how the agency functions, the The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday.
According to the report, Jordan may cut the bureau's funding unless it moves to Alabama's midsized city, roughly 700 miles from the nation's capital.

First fire the top leadership, and promote the whistleblowers.
The FBI is just not fixable, no more than the KGB is fixable.

Huntsville has a lot of professional class types....scientists and technicians who work for NASA. This is the right idea but not the right location. May I suggest Salisaw, Oklahoma? How about Laramie, Wyoming? How about Youngstown, Ohio?
These are exactly the kind of locations various federal agencies need to be sent - after being radically pruned back.
The FIB needs to just be abolished.
