Well the trees haven’t noticed any climate change the leaves come out and drop off at the same time every year
In SE Idaho, the leaves turned brown right on schedule, but never dropped off the trees. Instead of naked, bare branches all Winter, we had trees covered in brown leaves. Spring arrived late. The leafing out of the deciduous trees was delayed and many had new foliage competing with the tenaciously clinging brown leaves.
