Pound sand, bigot. Rockford is in Winnebago County, which went for Trump in 2020 by something like 55% to 42%. You condemn the entire state because of one city (Chicago), and one county (Cook), both of which unfortunately have the population numbers to control the state government.

I live less than 5 miles from where this happened. This community is shocked by what happened. What I don’t understand is why was this guy here, and how is he not in prison?
“Suburban” Rockford…PHOOEY! This community is about 100 miles from
Blue Island, Illinois.

Right you are. I grew up in Rockford, but live in Loves Park now. Not far from that part of town.
We lived in East Rockford on Broadway for a few years, and then built a house in Davis Junction, just south of Rockford. Rockford has its problems, but we still have a fondness for the area. We certainly miss St. Mary Oratory (Traditional Catholic Church [ICKSP]).
