I say this as the parent of a trans child.
The genetic defects that give rise to gender dysphoria are extremely rare. These conditions are no joke, the impact is gut wrenching, and for some it is a lifelong sentence of “otherness” the average person cannot comprehend.
It is statistically impossible for there to be a trans kid behind every bush. This is social contagion and grooming.
I hate the “trans movement” with the heat of 1,000 suns. They are using my child’s condition to push all sorts of lunacy and engage in practices that are NOT based in actual science. Transgenderism is not the “latest thing” and these morons are delegitimizing and fomenting hatred against what actually is a tiny community of people battling incurable endocrine disorders.
Drag queens are not trans. Cross dressers are not trans. There is NO justification to transition children. The medical industry knows this but it pays more to Frankenstein kids and their enablers in the media support them.

I have never read any study that identified genetic reasons for gender dysphoria, generally; which is not the same as the rare occasions of genetic reasons for malformed genitilia. MOST persons who obtain a gender dyshoria obsession do not have unformed or malformed gentilia or malformed male or female reproductive systems.

Yes, it can be a tense, and traumatic experience for the gender dysphoria child and their parents. That emotional tension and trauma is one catalysts that invites parents to just give in to the obsession, as if there is no good alternative, inspite of good data that 80% of kids who have an initial gender dyshoria, abandon it before maturity if they are not encouraged to just accept it and “transition”. Every indivdual I have seen or read who “detransitioned” speaks to their discovery that nothin was wrong with their body, just their thinking.
To me the “gender affirming care” a child with gender dysphoria needs is positive, sympathetic, compassionate but persistent MENTAL HEATH CARE to help them kick the obsession they have in their mind, and affirm their bilogical sex.

Yes. The political narrative about “trans” has allowed drag queens and others to piggy back their own agendas onto the “trans” movement, when, as you correctly note, they do not carry the exact same mental health issue as a kid with identity/gender dysphoria.
