Well, there was a war against the Russian-speaking people, but Russia and NATO themselves were not directly involved - just supporting their sides ‘unofficially’.
Even so, I do respect your position - it’s honest at least.

You are probably correct, but Russia invaded ten days after the Ukrainian militia started shelling the breakaway Russian speaking provinces.
