Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) blamed members of media outlets for his sagging poll numbers that have him far behind former President Trump for the lead for the 2024 Republican nomination.
DeSantis said during an interview on Fox News on Thursday that “corporate media” are focusing on him because they do not want him to win the nomination.
He said his campaign has just started and is in the process of building up its organization, and that his favorability rating is strong and he expects to be able to improve.

Trump’s just love bombing you.
Because he had a majority Republican State Legislature that allowed him to get things done. He didn't do it all on his own you know, although he'd like you to think he did.
He doesn’t have the backbone for this.
I’m sure it has nothing at all to do with the anger people felt for being such a self-centered, ambitious, power-hungry swampy politician and aligned yourself with the big donors, the Bushes, Rove, Ryan, McConnell, Romney, et al. Most people don’t take kindly to anyone who would turn around and try to take out the very person who got them to where they are. Apparently some people still have a shred of decency and consider this an incredible lack of character.
Add to that, the MAGA base needed to be united, not thrown into chaos.....and especially by someone who could easily have waited 4 more years, completed his gov gig, and done things in a more honorable way.
I loved DeSwamptis as gov.....especially when he sent those illegals to the Vineyard lol. When he turned around and stabbed Trump in the back, it showed me his real character. I was quite shocked. I never thought he would do this.
Yes, yes. Remember we have so often been told: “Trump whines, DeSantis governs.” Sounds like a whine to me, if I did not know better.
Evidently, DeSantis prefers all the positive news coverage Trump has always gotten.

Wins in a landslide, runs a fake shadow campaign for months, then finally announces and actually loses ground.

Imagine this guy if he was presented the nomination and the media, FBI, DOJ, Soros, WEF, Lawfare, BLM ‘24, all go after him.

Secondly, what did you think would happen? You think they are going to pump you up one day after the primaries are over assuming (laughably) you won them?

On top of that Ron's lack of response to the raid of Trump's home, his tepid response to the other lawfare against Trump, tells me that he is not a leader that I can respect. He is in bed with the entrenched GOP leadership that works with the democrats against Trump.
He does not realize that a lot of conservatives are aware of the duplicitous, entrenched GOP leadership and reject them fully. They have exposed themselves completely. The same song and dance don't work anymore on the voters.

DeSantis is talking about favorable coverage??? Trump has two felony indictments under his belt so far threatening him with life in prison.
