What are Cameron’s chances?
Probably a toss-up. Trump won Kentucky about 60-40 but Kentucky has a bad history of electing Democrats as Governors. Only 2-3 Republicans elected in the last 100 years or so.
I'm 73 and when I was a kid, there was practically no such thing as an elected Republican for virtually any office. Now, the legislature is highly Republican but the habit to elect Democrat Governors remains.
